We’re having a wedding! A weekend celebration to bring together all the important people in our lives, as we mark ten wonderful years together.
There’ll be good food, drinks, dancing, and time to just hang out in the beautiful Danish countryside. We hope that you can join us!

A lovely house in the Danish countryside, on the island of Lolland.
About an 1.5 hours south of Copenhagen, or a short ferry from Germany. -
✈️ By plane
From the UK, you can get direct flights from Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, London, Edinburgh and Birmingham. For Finnish guests, there are direct flights from Helsinki to Copenhagen.
We recommend getting into Copenhagen at the latest at 11am on Friday 28th, in order to catch the 13:08 train to the venue (details below).
🚗 By car
If you want to drive yourself, Frederiksminde is about 1.5hrs from Copenhagen - and there is plenty of parking on site. We’ll be on site all day Friday, but we invite you to arrive any time between 14:00 and 16:00.
🚃 By train
Take the 13:08 train from København H (Central Station) to Maribo. The journey is around 2.5 hours with one change at Nykøbing F. We'll have people waiting at Maribo St. to bring you to the venue.

✷ Important ✷ If you plan to get a different train than the 13:08, please let us know so we can make sure you have a way of getting to the venue from the station.
If you’re coming from Germany, the best route to Lolland is via the Puttgarden–Rødby ferry, which runs every 30 minutes. The crossing takes 45 minutes plus a 25 minute drive to the venue.

You should already know where you are staying at this point, but here’s some info for the different options:
Onsite guests
For those staying in the Main House, the Confirmation House or in the Glamping Field, make your way to the venue and we will show you to your accommodation.
For glampers, you can see what your tent will look like here. We have arranged for toilet and shower units on site for you to use.
Hotel guests
For those staying in the nearby hotel, the address is Aiden Lolland, Fabriksvej 2, 4960 Holeby, and you can find directions and other information on the hotel website here.

The hotel to the venue is about a 5 minute drive, or a 35 minute walk along quiet country roads. Where possible, we will coordinate lifts, and organise taxis for Saturday.

For the main day on Saturday we’re going for a “elegant garden party” feel. There’s no bridal party colour scheme, so no colours are off limits. Just wear something you feel nice in!
Late August in Lolland is usually pleasant but changeable:
Daytime averages around 20–23°C and can feel warm in the sun,
Evenings can dip to 12–15°C. It’s a good idea to bring a light layer, especially if you’re glamping or out after dark.
Over the weekend we’ll be mostly outside, with some grassy and cobbly terrain (weather permitting), so consider shoes you’re happy to roam around in, and walk comfortably across uneven ground.
For Friday, we’ll be wearing something more casual but still a bit special.
Sunday is a chill-out day, so bring something comfy.

Make sure to bring swimming stuff if you want to join the sauna or lake activities, and activewear if you want to participate in yoga or the group run on Saturday morning.
We also recommend a pair of flipflops or slip-on shoes, especially if you’ll be glamping on site.

We feel incredibly lucky that so many of you are travelling all the way to Denmark to celebrate with us. That alone means the world, so please don’t feel obliged to give us anything beyond your company.

Don’t fret, we’ve got a plan! If the weather is not looking great for the weekend, we will move most of the activities into the barn on site. Just make sure to bring appropriate clothes and shoes.
