Futures Folk has a website

Almost a year after Futures Folk was founded, we finally have a home online.

Last December, Andrea Gilly Marquez, Iines Reinikainen and I founded Futures Folk, an association using creative practices to democratise futures and craft better worlds.

Most of the futures we imagine swing between apocalyptic collapse and techno-utopias, imagined and built by decision makers and powerful corporations. At Futures Folk, we want to make space for everything and everyone else - futures that feel hopeful and just, but still possible, dreamed and designed together by people rarely invited into these conversations.

In our first year of existence, we’ve been focusing on building our network, establishing our goals and finding our platform, and in that, our website launch marks a big milestone. Although just a simple landing page for now, you’ll find our methods and approaches, as well as information on how to work with us, whether you’re a community, research group, consortium partner or private entity. We’ll be growing our portfolio there over the coming months and years.

Thank you to my wonderful colleague Iines Reinikainen for building this website and digital home for us.
