Design Interrupted is an ongoing talk series by Aalto University’s ARTS department, exploring the place and role of design in the 21st century. The visual identity spans print and digital promotional materials, designed to be easily adapted by the event team for each new speaker.
The concept plays with disruption as both subject and form, obscuring the speaker rather than centring them, subverting the visual conventions of a typical talk series to reflect the series’ own questioning of design’s role and assumptions.
